Payment is due upon completion of the agreed service unless a separate payment arrangement has been confirmed in writing prior to the start of work. We accept payment by cash, check, and major credit or debit cards. Late payments may be subject to additional charges. Buffalo Tree Specialists reserves the right to pursue outstanding balances through appropriate legal channels if necessary.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked service, please notify us as soon as possible by phone or email. We request at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling where possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover the cost of crew scheduling and equipment preparation.

However, some minor disturbance to lawns, soil, and garden beds is unavoidable during tree removal, stump grinding, crane operations, or land clearing. We will make every effort to minimize disruption and restore the work area before leaving your property.
Responsibility for Trees and Property
Buffalo Tree Specialists will carry out all agreed work with professional care, skill, and attention to safety. However, we cannot be held responsible for pre-existing damage, decay, disease, or structural weakness in trees that was not visible or identifiable at the time of our initial assessment. Our arborists will communicate any concerns identified during the work and discuss the appropriate course of action with you before proceeding.
It is the responsibility of the property owner to ensure that all relevant permissions, permits, or local authority approvals have been obtained before any tree removal, pruning, or land clearing work begins. This includes checking whether any trees on the property are subject to Tree Preservation Orders or other local planning restrictions. Buffalo Tree Specialists accepts no liability for work carried out based on incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
Emergency Tree Services
Our emergency tree service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Emergency callouts are prioritized based on the severity of the hazard and the safety risk posed to people and property. Response times may vary depending on demand, weather conditions, and the availability of our crew and equipment at the time of your call.
Emergency service pricing may differ from our standard service rates due to the nature of out-of-hours work, equipment mobilization, and the urgency of the response required. All emergency pricing will be communicated to you before work begins wherever possible, or as early in the process as circumstances allow.
Limitation of Liability
Buffalo Tree Specialists carries full public liability insurance covering work carried out on residential and commercial properties. In the event of damage caused directly by the negligence of our team during a booked service, our liability is limited to the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged item up to the limits of our insurance policy.
